Establishment of YIM
YIM was established on October 20, 2008, and is the leading social and grassroots innovation agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI).
YIM is a platform that seeks, develops, and matches innovation development funds to encourage and cultivate grassroots innovations that have the potential to be commercialized.
YIM empower creativity and innovation by developing innovative minds that turn ideas into reality; and
YIM also cultivate a sustainable support system that can produce economic benefits that could improve the well-being of the community, especially the quality of life of the B40 group and those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
